Cathay Pacific Business Class lounge in Taipei

The Taoyuan International airport in Taipei is a key point for Asian airlines and brings a lot of traffic ; it is very important to major airline companies to have their own lounge there and try to stand out from others. The Cathay Pacific Business Class lounge is a good signature lounge for the brand and offers all what a Business passenger would expect: large lounge, noodle bar, complimentary snacks and beverages, some iMacs with internet connection… Well, nothing extraordinary but it does the job.

My only complaint concern the service, which is completely missing: the two Cathay Pacific Business Class lounge hostesses are just here to welcome you, nothing more. I would have appreciated to see them in the lounge, socializing, anticipating desires. Let’s say it was good for Business passengers but definitely not enough for First.
