Located at the upper floor of the international Bangkok airport – Suvarnabhumi – the Thai Airways Royal First Class lounge is truly impressive at every levels. First it has a dedicated check-in at airport entrance, with porters that bring you to Royal First Class desk ; as you can see on picture, decor is… kitch but still luxury. The ground agent comes to your seat to let you choose your seat in the plane – he shows a seat map – among the 8 First seats and then another dedicated porter follow you during all security process ; honestly, it takes no more than 15 min from the moment you past through the airport entrance, not bad !

At the end, a buggy brings you to the Thai Airways Royal First Class lounge after a 10-minute drive and once there, you can enjoy plenty of luxury hours… Very few passengers, complimentary restaurant, many waiters, an amazing barman – one of the best cocktails ever – and finally, an OUTSTANDING complimentary Spa overlooking the tarmac with several treatment rooms, all of them equipped with massage table and jacuzzi. Yes, this is definitely a true first class lounge ! Depending of your preference, you can decide to board the plane at the very first moment he is available – around 20min before other passengers – or at the very last end, straight before door closing. A buggy will drive you shortly from the lounge to the plane in a 5-min ride.

In any case, I really recommend to First Class travellers so spend at least 4 hours there, even a half-day if you like airport lounges because the plenty of entertainments and the amazing treatments you can enjoy at the Spa.
