A Wonderful Evening at Le Narcisse Blanc

A Wonderful Evening at Le Narcisse Blanc

I thought I knew everything about my hometown, Paris, in term of luxury hotels. I was missing a stunning hidden gem, Le Narcisse Blanc, which opened in late 2016 and offers guests a unique cozy-chic atmosphere. Only for happy few.

Located in the middle of the 7th district of Paris, the most chic and exclusive location of the capital, Le Narcisse Blanc is your home away from home. Thanks to it’s boutique-hotel size and revisited classical design by Laurent & Laurence, this five-star place offers a gorgeous experience to guests. Let’s see how.

Living

Le Narcisse Blanc’s interior design has a unique style mixing French tradition and contemporary romantic touches. Inspired by Cléo de Mérode, a muse who embodied the timeless beauty of Paris in 1900’s, it gives a very charming atmosphere to that location, a kind of “Coco Chanel house” where elegance and beauty are one.

Then for sure, the boutique size of the hotel is definitely a fantastic point. Forget business hotels, forget “big factories”, here everything is made to make you feel like home. A luxury home, with a very high attention to detail.

Le Narcisse Blanc Spa

Spa pool

I especially like the Spa, one of the best I have seen in Paris: a huge heated pool, its jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms, a fitness area and a lovely massage room. Well, it’s all about being pampered :)

Accommodation

We had a chance to visit many types of room and honestly they are all amazing. Le Narcisse Blanc proposes only 37 rooms, all of them with a unique layout and specific views.

The room design is harmonized with the rest of the residence, very glamorous, the perfect destination for couple. And I would recommend to book room #503 because of the OUTSTANDING views over Paris.

Dining

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at Cléo, the hotel’s restaurant. We enjoyed a three-course dinner by chef Zachary Gaviller there, and I have to say it was great.

Cléo restaurant starter

Cléo Restaurant starter – Guinea hen terrine, foie gras, black trumpet mushrooms

Great in term of taste, and great in term of experience: only 10 tables and 2 waiters dedicated to our comfort. On my side I started with a Guinea hen terrine with foie gras and black trumpet mushrooms. I LOVED black trumpets!

Cléo Restaurant main course

Then I continued with pork and its smocked eggplant purée as main course. Light and tasty, just perfect.

Cléo Restaurant dessert

Cléo Restaurant dessert – Cream puffs, coconut sauce, pomegranate seeds

To achieve this culinary journey, I chose some cream puffs with coconut sauce and pomegranate seeds. For a romantic dinner, that’s really the place to go!

Level of exigency

We didn’t stay a night at Le Narcisse Blanc so we didn’t have a complete overview of the hotel’s service quality. However I can say that receptionists, restaurant waiters and Spa therapist provided an upscale and helpful service during our evening visit. Discreet, attentive and efficient.

Conclusion

I think “hidden gem” is really the best definition for Le Narcisse Blanc. It’s not advertized that much on internet – by purpose – but I assure it’s worth it. A good residence for a staycation or a long stay in Paris, with an impressive Spa.

Visited on October 9th, 2017 – Sponsored media visit, but this article reflects 100% of my opinion and thoughts.

Le Narcisse Blanc opened in October 2016 and is composed of 37 rooms and suites. We experienced a 60-minute body treatment at Carita Spa and a three-course dinner at Cléo Restaurant, which public rates start respectively at EUR150 and EUR45/person.
